Photoshoot with Ama

Here are two pictures from the photoshoot with Ama today. I haven't had the time to edit more. The cat face on the lower picture was really creepy as she looked like a serial killer and I couldn't stop lauhing taking these pictures. Anyway the cat face was Amas idea and the phone mine. I like a very dark mood on my pictures so it's on purpose.

It's kinda weird that the editing takes more time than the actual photographing process, and still it's called photography. I enjoy both and editing is a huge part, the biggest part in my pictures at least.

The traditional photoshoot

Today I'm having a photoshoot with Ama, she's been my model since I started photographing people and the cooperation is great. This would be the second "autumn photoshoot" and the second one on a corn field because that is where we're going. Today I've been looking through the wonderful www.deviantart.com for inspiration. That is what I found ^^ with all respect to the artist, can't remember the name :/

However, other plans today include working on EE and maybe going to the gym. I like having a full calendar some times.

Crayfish smell

Yesterday was hilarious, we were 6 girls drinking wine and eating crayfish at Emmy's place in Ingå. I don't remember that much actually, just that we went to the sauna and ran naked in the house. Then we danced an ate crayfish. I have some really funny pictures of Siitari and I'm planning to print them out and write a story of them ;) It's always fun to drink with the girls as you don't have to "behave" ...

The way home today wasn't as fun, I couldn't talk as the illness was gonna come out. And it came. Now I'm feeling a lot better.

Have fun on friday's

Today was IB graduation and now I'm going to Maya's graduation party. Thank God it's in the house opposite to ours :P Then Fille is going to drive me to Emmy's place in Inkoo where only girls are going to eat crayfish and have a lot (LOT) of fun. Oh, and I had the Hare Krishna headthing on, hahah Inka who reads my blog (apparently) said that to me in the morning. When I took it off I had nice marks on my forehead which everybody pointed out. Thanks mates, I didn't notice! (irony) :D

Weekend plans

My weekend plans are:

Friday: Extended Essay day in school (therefore the advert), working on the referencing. 1.30 pm is the IB graduation, 6 pm is Maya's graduation party and at 8 pm I'm going to Emmy's house in Inkoo to spend quality time with some friends :)

Saturday: Nothing. Just recovering from friday ;)

Sunday: Photographing Amanda, maths study group at Verkku with Annmarie & Dansku.

Thursday evening

It's horrible being a little bit drunk on a thursday evening, you would like to take more and party all night but! you have school tomorrow. I hate it hate it hate it. Anyway I just came home from my father's wedding and it was cool, I talked with my grandpa about my future studies and other crap like when he drove into another car because of a squirrel etc. Now I'm desperately trying to get Verkku to go out for a walk because I just can't sit in here when it's only 9 o'clock. Gaaah.

The picture has nothing to do with anything, it's just something from the summer. I'm kinda weird right now...

Golden Buttons

This is my mother's old jacket and my new one. Love it even though I look a bit like a soldier/sailer and something in between. Went walking with Verkku and before that I had my the theory lesson for drivers lisence. So the day was damn long. PLUS I got 19/20 from my maths portfolio which was fucking awesome considering that I sent it 1 year after everybody else and didn't even finish it completely. I'm so smart!;)

Wedding drama

We had an argument about my father's wedding. Mom kept asking "What are u gonna wear?" I'm like "I don't really care, what's up with the stress from you???" and it came out that my father has called mom after some important occasions and whined that my dressing was inappropriate so now she had to intervene in my dressing. Grrrr I'm wearing whatever I want, that's the last thing anybody intervenes in. So I said to her that I was thinking all black to the wedding (it's not even a real wedding - theres only going to be 6 people in the chapel) just to be a rebel against my dad. Okay, I'm horrible. But now I'm apparently wearing a pink silk dress from my mother's closet. Yeah, just to make something worse I'm not gonna wear any make-up. ;)

Disturbing make-up

I laughed today at Cecilia's life, I don't mean that I was mean or anything but they had this task that they had to write down - their plans of their lives. She goes home and reads for the exams. Okey well this isn't so much better, I photograph myself. I made a distubring make-up and photographed it thinking this I can upload to CAS (a school thing). Well the pictures are terrible. I look like Brigitte Bardot on the upper one and hohoho like an egghead on the lower one. I have to work on them a little bit more perhaps.

The boyfriend shirt

Aaah men's clothes, (no it's not a fetish eww), anyway, I borrowed or stole the t-shirt from my boyfriend and the hat is Tapani's, it looks kinda cool on the picture but I look like a tourist in real life. So no hats in public :(
School was fine today, it was a short day so I got home reeeeally early and I should do all the crappy homework soon. No special plans for today, just doing something unnecessary (such as school work) etc. (read between the lines, I'm doing everything else than school work)

This tv commercial was competing in Cannes - the worlds best advertisements of this year. I think it's beautifully produced, the music is however, awful in my opinion.

Dieting ppl

I've never liked people who diet, or refracing that a bit, I don't like the fact that they are dieting. My appetite has always been huge, I love candy, icecream and McDonald's food. That's why I've gained 3 kg over the summer. And yes I'm now the person I used to hate.

Now I don't eat candy, ice cream or McDonald's food. I eat everything else.
Not so bad at all and it's working. ;)

Hare Krishna or Boho?

My mom is a real fashion expert. She said I look like someone from Hare Krishna with that "headthing" on (in the picture). Okay some people consider that "thing" boho or hippie, my mom thinks it's Hare Krishna(ish).

What's up world

I'm exhausted, I've been writing on my Extended Essay for 3 hours and I'm exploding as I've made a huge mistake = misunderstanding my teacher's comments. I erased all page numbers from my references which I SHOULDN'T have done. Tittididiiii I'm screwed.

And starving - I've eaten in school at 12 o'clock and nothing after that.

Plus I looked like a 5 year old at the school photography! Way to go!

University search

I've been thinking all year - where to go after high school - England or USA or just stay in Finland for 2 years and then go somewhere...

Now I know what I want, I want to go the the US. I have two things I want to study:

Marketing and Fashion Marketing

I have no idea if I can study first marketing and then take an associates degree in fashion marketing. It's so difficult for me to know as the american system is completely different than the Finnish one. I would like to have God as my friend so he could answer all the 1000 questions I have, "what are the best marketing&fashion marketing universities in the US and how appreciated is an associates degree, what if I only study fashion marketing or vice versa?"

Awwwghr, I think I study first marketing and then fashion marketing. I'm gonna be away from home forever.

Fall is here

Fall is here any minute, (okay not literally), and we had a little "fall photoshoot" in the middle of July. How depressing is that? I know many ppl who love fall, they get to dress in many layers and everything. I hate it. I hate hate hate dressing in layers. I like summer when I don't have to wear so much, I love wearing summer shoes the most. Well fall is better than winter, winter is worse than fall. I sound like the worst pessimist and I'm not. Anyway the one positive thing about fall is the beautiful nature. Great season for photography.

Coctail Party

Here are some pictures from yesterday :) Soffi and her friends (+ Cecci) on the third picture and me & fille on the second one. The sunset was gorgeous, sadly my crappy Olympus camera couldn't picture it as beautifully as my Canon eos 400D could've done.

Tomorrow is my first driving lesson, can't wait ;)

Sleepy Sundays

I had a fun time yesterday, Soffi's party guests were outside and downstairs whereas Cecci, Dicken and me just chilled upstairs. The freakiest thing was that my brother who is 14 was there with Cecci's brother. First time he's at the same party as me ;D he behaved good though, no drinking whatsoever.

I'm lying in Fille's bed with his mac, I think it's time that I get a laptop too. It's unfair that my brother has one when the person that really is in need of one is me!

Evening plans are to finish Extended Essay, go jogging with Verkku and plan the outfit for tomorrows school photography ;)

The Princess Cecilia

Cecilia had a beautiful princess dress yesterday whereas I wore a top as a skirt and some rndm pink top with black gladiator sandals.

We had a lot of fun taking these pictures on Pacce's yard. We were waiting for him to come home and played the weirdest game ever. That's how it is with Cecci - xoxo to her.

The Last Summer Party

Yesterday was the last summer party. I had a lot of fun, there were a lot of familiar faces and ppl I haven't seen in a long time. We danced all night and got home at 3.00. The streets of Helsinki were full of people as it was the "arts night". Today we're going to Cecilia's sister's birthday party to look after the kids (just kidding). I'm however, not really in the mood of partying after yesterday.

It's always nice to start a new blog, almost the same thing as starting in a new school or course. A fresh new start ;)

Today we're going with a big group of people (300 or so) to a friend's party at the Club Helsinki, the theme is "summer sexy" which is going to be impossible considering the weather, 15 celcius degrees. There's also the "arts night" here in Helsinki which is always a nice happening. A lot of music and arts everywhere.

Cecilia is coming over to my place soon and we're gonna get ready and meet some ppl. :)
